Meet our Team
Annie Noble, MS, RDN, DHS - Candidate
Director
Originally from Noblesville, Indiana, I moved to Terre Haute in 2013 to attend Indiana State University. My husband and I have since planted our roots in Terre Haute with our daughter, Collins and son, Rory. On the weekends, you can find our family eating at local restaurants, exploring local parks, or on the golf course.
My educational background consists of a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, a Master’s degree in Dietetics, and currently pursuing my Doctorate in Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition. I have always had a passion for serving the community and believe it to be an important civic responsibility. My career mission is to promote preventative health initiatives to improve health outcomes by focusing on the youth and their family construct. As a public health figure, I place value on treating individuals using a holistic approach to promote lifelong, healthy lifestyle practices.
Madison Schmidt, DHPE, MS
Physical Activity Navigator
I am a born-and-raised Hautian. My husband and I are blessed with three daughters. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, and going on little adventures.
I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Indiana State, both in public health. My Doctorate is from Logan University in Health Education. My degrees have equipped me with the necessary tools for this position. My ‘why’ is to make our community a better place for my girls to grow up in. This job allows me to connect with like-minded people who share the goal of improving health and wellness in our community. I am proud to be part of this program!
Megan Rubey
Mental Health Navigator
I’m a proud Hoosier, happy to be back in my hometown of Terre Haute after twelve years in Indianapolis. My husband, Luke, and I are raising our little boy here—with another on the way—and our lovable 100-pound goldendoodle. As a family, we enjoy taking walks, spending time at the pool, reading together, baking, and exploring new places.
With a background in early childhood education and firsthand experience as a mom, my passion for supporting mental and physical wellness during the early years of development has only deepened. I love discovering creative, meaningful ways to help both children and adults improve their overall well-being. I'm especially passionate about working with educators to emphasize the power of strong relationships in the classroom and to incorporate applied educational neuroscience strategies. These approaches help both teachers and students regulate their nervous systems, setting the stage for a more connected, joyful, and effective learning environment.
Chelsea Dickerson, BSN
Nutrition Navigator
I am a Terre Haute native and proud graduate of the Vigo County School Corporation. With a lifelong passion for helping others live healthier lives, I pursued a nursing degree at Indiana State University and later earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Over the years, my passion has evolved into a commitment to building programs and transforming organizations and communities to support individuals in achieving their healthiest lives and fullest potential. I also have a deep dedication to the well-being of children, which is reflected in my service on the Board of Directors at Susie’s Place Child Advocacy Center and Small Group Leader in the Elementary Program at Maryland Community Church.
I am very excited to serve the children, families, and employees of the Vigo County School Corporation, as I care deeply about the well-being of our community. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, staying active through fitness, and traveling—especially to Disney World.
